Mr Manoj Kumbhat, CIO, Pepsico India
Manoj is a seasoned IT executive with sixteen years of IT experience. Manoj has spent 12 years in various technology consulting roles implementing SAP at large multinationals like Bristol Myers Squibb, Abbott Labs, Rexam, Alcatel, Alstom, Honeywell, MIT and Raytheon Missile Systems prior to joining PepsiCo.
As PepsiCo India CIO, Manoj is delivering the IT vision and strategic agenda for both Beverage and Food businesses to support and enable rapid business growth. Manoj is working on building a vision and executing on a multi-year IT transformation agenda to bring the two businesses together and building on synergies in IT infrastructure, applications, competencies, and in harmonizing vendors, and deployment while working on the IT globalization agenda of Managed Services. Manoj is also setting the agenda for the global SAP implementation rollout.
Manoj joined PepsiCo over four and half years ago and before his move to India was part of PepsiCo's North America transformation team and worked in the office of Transformation Chief Technology Officer. He served in a role of Enterprise Architect for all the North America businesses for the Business Process Transformation initiative called One Up. In this role he delivered architecture services for One Up for QTG, PCNA and FLNA divisions.
Prior to PepsiCo, Manoj has delivered several global SAP implementations in the capacity of Sr. leadership team member, Project Management and Delivery Head, Architecture and part of the Program Management Office. He has extensive experience in implementing SAP solutions in the areas of OTC, manufacturing, financials and supply chain areas and worked at several CPG companies in managing global and complex SAP implementations.
Prior to his joining PepsiCo, Manoj has worked with BizSoft Consulting, Inc. as President and CEO and built a successful boutique SAP Consulting firm. Manoj has a master's degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA, both from United States and is also American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certified.
